  • Most couples book 12–18 months before their wedding, particularly for peak summer weekends. That said, I always encourage you to reach out, even if your wedding is sooner. My availability changes throughout the year, and I'd love to see if we can make something work.

  • Absolutely, and I promise you're not alone! Nearly every couple tells me they're nervous about being photographed.

    Rather than placing you in stiff poses, I'll guide you with natural prompts and subtle adjustments so you always know what to do while still looking and feeling like yourselves. My goal is for your photographs to feel genuine, relaxed, and true to who you are.

  • Yes, I always have at least two cameras on me at all times! Every wedding and session is photographed with both digital and film photography.

  • Absolutely. I photograph weddings throughout Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan. Whether you're planning a celebration in Victoria, Tofino, Kelowna, or somewhere in between, I'd love to hear about your plans. If you're getting married elsewhere, feel free to reach out! I'm always happy to discuss destination weddings and travel.

  • A second photographer is not included in my wedding collections, but one can be added to any package.

    Whether it's worthwhile depends on your wedding. For larger celebrations, separate getting-ready locations, or couples who would love additional coverage from multiple perspectives, a second photographer can be a valuable addition. During the planning process, I'll happily help you decide whether it's something your day would truly benefit from.

  • Yes! I'll work with you before your wedding to create a photography timeline that feels relaxed while making the most of the available light. Whether it's deciding when to schedule your first look, portraits, or family photos, I'm happy to offer guidance based on your venue and priorities.

  • The process is simple. Start by filling out my inquiry form with a few details about your wedding. From there, we'll connect to chat about your plans and make sure we're a great fit. If you'd like to move forward, I'll send over your contract and invoice. Your wedding date is officially reserved once the signed contract and retainer have been received.

    Julia shot my wedding this past July and I can't say enough good things about her and her work. She was incredibly helpful throughout my wedding planning and tailored her services to my needs. On the day of, she arrived on time, organized and as comfortable in the space, with my bridesmaids and family getting ready, as if she was old friends with all of us on a regular Saturday morning. She helped me to feel so good in my own skin, but also gave me the best pointers for my self-done make-up, poses, veil-pinning. My husband is not one for having pics taken, but because she's just a friend, it didn't feel uncomfortable.
