A Romantic Summer Wedding at Carriage House Farm in Langley, BC
Paige and Lachlan celebrated their summer wedding at Carriage House Farm in Langley, BC, surrounded by sprawling gardens, mature willow trees and the quiet countryside of the Fraser Valley. Their outdoor ceremony was set beneath the trees, with soft white florals and natural wood chairs complementing the lush green surroundings.
The day balanced timeless elegance with a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. Paige wore a classic white gown and lace-trimmed veil, while Lachlan chose a black suit for a clean, understated look. A soft palette of sage and olive green carried through the wedding party, paired with loose white and cream florals that felt perfectly at home in the garden setting.
Their ceremony unfolded beneath the willows before the celebration moved into an outdoor reception, with long tables, delicate florals and views across the surrounding fields. The open landscape also gave us space to create more intentional portraits together, while the rest of the day was documented as naturally as possible.
I photographed Paige and Lachlan's wedding on both film and digital, blending refined editorial portraiture with candid documentary photography. As daylight faded, the celebration shifted from the softness of the garden into a lively evening under the tent, complete with string lights, dancing and some of my favourite flash photographs from the day.
